Figure Out Your Skin Type

I know you have heard this a lot; but only because it is essential. Your skin is something that has stuck with you for the longest. You have a responsibility to get to know it. See the signs. It is easier said than done.

Our skin changes in all seasons. But there is a pattern to it. With patience, you will be able to decipher it.

Common Skin Types

The most commonly found skin types are Oily, Dry, Combination, and Sensitive skin.

Oily Skin

Oily skin type is mostly sweaty and oily to touch. It will obviously not be oozing oil like a fluid! Just think of it being a little moist due to extra natural oils on the skin. It will be worse in humid weather.

Dry Skin

From the name itself, it is evident that dry skin lacks moisture. It becomes scaly if not dealt with properly. If you have dry skin, you can feel your skin getting annoying tight with that layer of a white scrape on top.

Combination Skin

This is desired by most and has the best of both worlds. A mixture of dry and oily skin is the combination skin type.

Sensitive Skin

This skin type is a nightmare (for most). If you have sensitive skin, then you know its ordeals. Sensitive skin reddens and inflames quickly and is not compatible with every face and makeup product.

Is It Necessary To Have A Skincare Routine?

Simply YES YES YES!
Every day we move, we travel, we apply numerous products, and even worse we step out in the pollution-filled environment we have created. This and many more factors cause the skin to break out, suffer from sunburns, and create an amalgam of unpleasantness. to add, our skin has an accumulation of dead cells that needs to be removed regularly.
We can consider bathing as a skin routine for the body. But for that overexposed face, there exists a special routine. After all your face deserves all that extra pampering!

Face routine for that perfect skin

Finally, it is the part for which we have read this far is here! Follow this most widely used general face routine –

To clean that face off of any dust and dead skin cells, washing your face is primary.

Scrub

Using a scrub is necessary to exfoliate the skin and deep clean those pores. avoid the delicate skin on and under your eyes. You should use scrubs quite often as that may cause unnecessary dryness.

Toner

It helps to remove the slightest residue of any makeup left on the face. It adds that extra layer to make sure that the face is totally clean. In the case of toners, a little goes a long way.

Well, guess what?

They are true. The golden tip to healthy skin is a good moisturizer. Invest in a good moisturizer not necessarily an expensive one. Choose what’s best for you. Pick one with SPF 12 or with sunscreen. This will add extra protection to it.

Eye Cream

To keep your under eyes hydrated and healthy, under-eye cream is a must-have. Most under-eye creams have a cooling effect, which gives the eyes their much-needed rest. One should try and start using eye creams in their mid-twenties they say. But you can start whenever you want.

Conclusion

Besides these beauty regimes and routines that one can follow religiously, eating clean and healthy, plus a stress-free lifestyle must always be a priority. As they say “You are what you eat”. Be mindful while making lifestyle decisions as they all reflect on your epidermis.
