To make this concoction, grind a potato and extract the juices. Add one tablespoon of lemon. Use a cotton pad to dab this mixture all over the skin and let it sit for thirty minutes before rinsing with cold water.

This mixture reverses tanning and acts as an effective exfoliator that gently removes dead skin. Mix two tablespoons of gram flour with a pinch of turmeric and add milk to make a paste. For better results, add a tablespoon of rose water. Cover the skin with this paste and rinse it off with cold water once it dries completely.  

3. Tomato With Yoghurt

Tomatoes have natural bleaching and exfoliating properties due to the citric acid present in them. Mix it with yogurt in a 1:1 ratio. The yogurt aids in the moisturization of the skin. Apply this mixture and let it rest for thirty minutes before rinsing with cold water.

Cucumbers are known for their hydrating and cooling properties. It is the most conveniently available and the most commonly used remedy to sunburns. This is also highly effective as cucumber juice is a mild astringent. Apply cucumber juice directly or with a cotton pad onto the skin and rinse off after thirty minutes.

5. Honey With Lemon Juice

Both honey and lemon juice are already common ingredients in the beauty department. Luckily, these two ingredients work wonders for tanned and/or sunburnt skin as well.
