How to take care: It loves to be in a humid environment and requires water daily. Overwatering can also cause problems. Keeping it under direct sunlight can burn the leaves, so install it in a place with low sunlight.

The dark green glossy leaves will surely be a treat to your eyes. The white flowers just shower extra beauty and purify the air very effectively.

How to take care: This beautiful grassy plant is an indoor plant and very sensitive towards harsh sunlight. Do not keep it under sunlight for long, as the tips can easily burn. How to take care: the plant can survive in a glass of water and a pot of soil. If you choose to go with the soil, ensure that the soil has a good amount of drainage so that the roots don’t remain in the water for long.

This indoor plant literally looks like the palm tree when it grows up with red and green foliage. This plant is very fondly grown indoors and doesn’t need special care.

How to take care: It requires draining soil and a lot of sunlight. Be careful before placing it under too much of sunlight as the leaves might scorch. The roots are prone to rotting so do not keep the soil wet for a long time.

How to take care: The soil for this air-purifying plant should be moist, but do not let it be soggy, especially during winters. The fronds of the date palm are prone to turning brown if watered too much. They don’t grow very fast and require medium sunlight to look fresh and green. Place it near an east-facing window for all-year-round sunlight.

6. Philodendron

How to take care: They are very easy to handle and need a moderate amount of water and sunlight to grow. Do not put it under direct sunlight as the leaves can experience burns.

One of the best purifiers to be kept in your house, they are popularly known as mums. They do a great job in glorifying your house with their bright colors and beauty. They can be difficult to take care but the result is worth it.

How to take care: Add warm water to the plant and let it enjoy a good airflow, indirect bright sunlight, and a bit of water now and then.
